TetR isusedintetracyclineinducIBLeexpression.Itbinds toanyinduciblepromotersthathasincorporateditsbindingsequence torepresstargetexpression.And targetexpressionisinducedoncetetracyclineisadded.TetracyclinebindstoTetR,which releasesTetRfromtarget’spromoter,andstartsthetranscription.Gentarget’sOptionalinducibleshRNAParticlesandOptionalinducibleexpressionparticlescanbeturnedintotetracyclineinduciblesystembyusingTetRexpressingparticles.ByusingadifferentantibioticmarkerinTetRparticlesthanthatinexpressionparticles,youcanselectthedoubletransducedcellsviadoubleantibioticselectionatthesametime.Then,thetarget’sexpressionisturnedintoatetracyclinedosedependentinducibleexpression.
